Toyota Corolla E120 Engine Coolant Temp Sensor(E2)
Toyota Corolla 9 th Generation (E120)
Engine Coolant Temp Sensor (E2)
DESCRIPTION
A part of the thyristor device used to measure the temperature is designed to be incorporated into the engine coolant temperature sensor. Due to this, its resistance value changes according to the engine coolant temperature. The onboard computer uses the ECT signal as the main correction factor when calculating ignition advance and injection timing.
